Nemi flexibilizes public transport to make it more efficient, sustainable and inclusive.
Nemi’s software for on-demand and scheduled services, digitizes and optimises existing public transport services. Via a digital platform nemi’s aims to to transform the up-take, accessibility and use of public transport by bus or taxi.

On demand
By implementing on-demand solutions, Nemi optimises and flexibilizes existing transport routes to improve the efficiency and enhance the user experience of public and private transport services in bus or taxi.
Through a user application, a driver application, a web back-office and a route optimisation algorithm, Nemi’s Demand Responsive Transport solutions are built and optimised based on booking locations to optimise itineraries and vehicle occupancy.
Digital Scheduled services
Regular fixed line services can also be digitised via our platform solution offering improved reliability and transparency via real time information on bus location.
By creating a communication channel between the users and the operator, accessibility and safety are improved and valuable data on passenger numbers and popular pick-up points are created.
Flexible fixed bus lines
The platform is adaptable and allows a hybrid approach to flexibilising fixed lines with on-demand stops.
Nemi’s hybrid approach flexibilises fixed lines with on-demand stops or placing all, or parts of the route on demand at certain times of the day/day of the week. Such a hybrid approach can bring important efficiencies in terms of demand aggregation, enhanced user experience, passenger satisfaction and high social value.

Vitoria-Gasteiz
Night Bus service in Vitoria-Gasteiz, northern Spain. Digitalisation of the night bus lines and implementation of stops on-demand at the end of each route. A pre-bookable service and increased density of bus stops which reduces the walking time and distance home, and is an important step towards transparent, safe and accessible public transport.
