Synopsis: Study carried out in collaboration with the Directorate General for Industry, with the aim of understanding how the mobility and automotive sectors will evolve in the coming years due to new trends and challenges, such as:
- Connectivity and mobile technology
- Connected devices (IoT, V2V, V2I, v2X)
- 5G technology
- Big Data, Machine Learning and AI.
- Robotics and autonomous technologies.
- Open Data
- Decarbonisation and pollution
Three interrelated vectors are highlighted, which may have an impact on the evolution of how people will move over the next decade, both at European level and in terms of their extrapolation to the Catalan territory:
- Rules and regulations
- Overall mobility costs
- Travel time and comfort
